Dubbed a while ago as some as “Chicago’s Best-Kept Secret,” Phil Greene doesn’t seem to be much of a mystery man anymore – not judging by the list of scholarship offers he’s received, or the West Virginia coaching staff’s intense efforts to recruit him to Morgantown – where he’ll soon be visiting officially.
“I talk to them every week. Coach Huggins and coach [Larry] Harrison … They tell me that I’m the number one priority [at guard] and if I commit, they’re going to stop recruiting other guards,” Greene told EerSports.com.

“I’ll ask them, ‘How tall are you?’” said Bhullar, a 7-foot-4 junior who is one of West Virginia’s top recruiting prospects in the Class of 2012.
“We probably get asked four or five times a day [how tall we are],” said his ‘little’ brother Tanveer Bhullar, who is a 7-foot-2 sophomore and also is being recruited by the Mountaineers. “One time we were at McDonald’s and this girl asked how tall we were so my coach told her I was six-foot-twelve. And the girl was like, ‘He’s six-foot-twelve you guys!’”

Point guard Jerome Seagears visited West Virginia a few weeks ago not knowing what to expect. After a few days checking out the campus, and facilities and meeting with the coaching staff, though, he had to battle the urge to go ahead and commit on the spot.
